“I’ll be There for You” Explore

I’ll be There for You is an 8 x 8 x .75 inch original mixed media painting on cradled wood panel. This painting is inspired by the 1989 song of the same title by Bon Jovi.  The painting features 2 birds – one singing his/her undying allegiance to the other in flight.  The painting includes lots of collage papers, a page from a fairy tale and a little orange heart torn from a bookmark I bought in India! The lyrics and sheet music from the song – including the iconic “I’ll be there to you/ these five words I swear to you,” are in there peeking through the paint and bits of collage paper. (the sides are now painted paynes grey to match the darker bits in the painting)
